Hey, my endocrinologist's first name is Konstantine. He goes by -- ready for this? -- Stan.
I keep trying to get people to use Ezekiel, & call the little one Zeke for short. I also suggest Sarah for girls, as that was my mother's name.
Alexandra?
Oh, look! Can't believe I found this, and surely can't believe that it's one of a dozen or more such sites. http://www.babynameworld.com/greek-p-1.asp
CONGRATULATIONS!!! What an awesome way to find out that you are going to have a baby!! I hope you get a nice reprieve from your MS symptoms for the next nine months and longer!! It's Thanksgiving Day in Canada on Monday...what better reason to celebrate ours and yours...so Thankful that you have been blessed with a new life!
Lots of Baby Hugs,
Rena
What wonderful news for you and your husband (or should I call him "The Golden Shot"?)
I am so thrilled for you and now you have something so special to focus on and I hope that your MS can take a real rest on the back burner and that you remain fit, healthy and well.
This is a blessing to celebrate.
With love and many congratulations

I think this might be the best reason I have heard for an MRI getting canceled! Cingrats!

Thanks everybody!
I'm not sure I've totally gotten used to the idea yet, but we're super excited.
Hmmm, names are slightly complicated. My husband is Greek, so finding Greek names that sound good in English and are not intimidating to say and spell is challenging!
Our heartiest congratulations, Mom! We will ask God to grant you safety, peace, and a lifetime of happy memories.
So, have you picked names yet?
Congratulations! May God bless you with a healthy pregnancy and a safe easy delivery!
Let me join in the parade of those who are overjoyed with your good news!
Parenthood is indeed one of the greatest gifts of life. While it does present challenges along the way, it brings so much joy and enrichment to life.
I'm celebrating for you and your family tonight!

Congratulations!!! What great news.

Congrats.
What a story you will have to tell family and friends and even baby-to-be someday when you say how you found out you were pregnant. It is not the usual home test scenario.
Breath deep and walk confidentaly into this new adventure in your life.
Julie
Congratulations on the good news!!!

Congratulations! That's great - stay healthy and happy!
When I read your post title, I just *knew* what you were going to say!
What a great reason to put off an MRI. What you're supposed to do now is celebrate. Call your neuro and let him or her know. You can be monitored and otherwise tested without getting the MRI. Besides, I'm betting you've just gotten a long reprieve from MS.
Congrats!
