surging in brain

I was diagnosed with MS in 2009, and am taking rebif medication.  I've had about four experiences in the last month and a half of a surging feeling in my brain.  It occurs when I'm asleep, and actually jolts me awake.  Does anyone else get this symptom as well?

Well, it's not necessarily a symptom of MS. But it does say that something is not right, and that's why you need to consult your doctor.

Good luck and let us know.

I plan to inform my doctor this week.  It's a strange, bizarre feeling, and I actually thought I was just pushing myself too hard, so I let it go ...
I'm surprised to read this morning on this communications site, that it  could be a symptom of MS.  I was considering perhaps symptoms of a stroke or blockage....

That sounds really scary km, have you had a chance to tell your doc about it?
