Hi - it can be very slow around here on the weekends and I'm glad you bupmed your question so we would be sure to see it.
Keep in mind I am NOT a doctor and this is just my thoughts- what you are describing doesn't strike me as ms when you say the sensation is gradually moving. The symptoms we experience with MS don't move like that - that are specific to an area that correlates to the section of the brain or spine that is affected. I hope that makes sense.
I'm sorry you felt dismissed by your doctor- this is a fairly common complaint around here. There are a lot of things that could be causing this type of discomfort, and unfortuantely sometimes the answer is never found before the problems resolves on its own. Waiting for insurance and MRIs is also common around here.
Have you seen an opthamologist to check your eyes? I would definitely do that to check your vision problem.
It is hard to relax and put aside anxiety when you feel that something is wrong. I hope you get some answers very soon.
be well,
Lulu
Could you have been exposed to Lyme disease? Lyme loves the eyes, causing floaters, and can jangle the nerves causing migratory sensations like what you describe. The blood tests are not that reliable, I tested negative for a long time, but they are a lot cheaper than an MRI. I see your in NJ and summer is tick season, so something to keep in mind.
Good luck & take care.
