Hi there & welcome to the MS Community.

I was unsure from what you've said what your diagnosis is? I guess the question should be have you been dx with MS and how long have you had it?

If you've been diagnosed and you are feeling sensations on a side of the body you normally wouldn't and is so widespread...I would be contacting your Neuro asap to keep them in the loop. You may need some IVSM to get you through or maybe not but it's important to at least let them know of your changes.

In regards to how I cope. I sometimes do and I sometimes don't. I find that when I have a new symptom that is quite disabling I do struggle for a while to try and learn how to manage day to day living. I had a relapse in August which produced some speech difficulties & some problems with my leg. These both took the wind out of my sails because at first I could barely speak and was barely able to get my leg to move. It's all still with me but now 50 to 75% better unless I get too hot or tired.

I tend to try & make light of some things like my insane speech at times because it sort of eases the tension of those around me. I am trying to not worry about what I have going on & if I'm going to remain like this forever because it's not helpful to me. I now try to pick myself up and start working in physical therapy, speech therapy, OT etc to improve as much as I can.

I'm sure others will chime in here with their experience. I have RRMS which kind do you have?

Take Care,

Karry.
