un dianosed and confused

Hi my Dr has done an MRI and many other tests and so far its turned up nothing . She first thought it was MS but now is baffled as all tests came back normal. I am 32 this July and things are happening to me that would happen to an elderly person due to the sudden loss of motor skills eg. my legs will give out at anytime without warning, sometimes i will have no grip in my hands and drop things if i try to pick them up, I get major neck pain at the base of my head which cause migraines all the time, I have even had a LP in my back the first time I had meningitis (viral) but the second time it was normal. I have a 4 yr old daughter and really wanna know whats wrong with me as all this stuff happening makes it very difficult for both me and her. If you can help figure it out with suggestions that would be wonderful
Thanks
Joey

Hi my Dr has done an MRI several times and many other tests like  EEG, MRI, MRA, EMG, Sweat tests and everything is coming back normal. First we thought it was MS but now as baffled as all tests came back normal. I am 38 and things are happening to me that would happen to an elderly

will give out at anytime without warning, sometimes i will have no grip in my handsHand or foot spasms.  My brain feels like it is shutting down and I can't talk or walk for about 4 hours.  It is exhausting and I just want to sleep when it happens.  It takes a couple days for me to recover from these episodes.  I can't be active at all or I have lots of trouble.
I get severe pains in 6 points of head.  I just came back from Mayo and found out I do have Prepheral Neuropathy but can't explain the head pressure and pain.  I go back to see the Neuropathy Specialist on March 15th.
I have a two daughters 8 and 10 and really wanna know whats wrong with me as all this stuff happening makes it very difficult for both me and my family. If you can help figure it out with suggestions that would be wonderful
Thanks

Hi Thanks for your responses
yes I have had my vitamin D level checked and I am on the pills but am still having difficulties as well as being really weak and tired all the time.
I have had an MRI on my brain and neck but they said everything is fine so I dunno.
My appointment with the neuro was supposed to be at the end of june but with everything getting worse they moved the appointment to tomorrow and I am scared to go alone. I will let you know what he says tomorrow ok
Thanks again!!

Hi there,

I'm sorry you don't know what is going on yet.  Is your Dr. a neuro?

Have you had MRIs of your spine as well as brain, and do you know the strength of the machine?

It's certainly understandable to be worried.  This stuff is scary.  I'm sure others will come along and offer their thoughts.  Please know that there is a lot to learn here and that you will find support and comfort as well.

See you around! Thanks for joining us!

Not for nothing, but has your dr. checked your vitamin D levels? I am just learning all the things that a low vitamin D level can cause. It couldn't hurt to check it, could it?
