Well, D/C Tysabri for a bit or maybe longer than "a bit?"

Turns out my vocal cord issue is NOT Thrush as I been told.  Got second opinion yesterday by the Chairman ENT @ Cleveland Clinic.  The reason why I have not had a voice for over a week, is due to Ulcers and Lesions on my vocal cords.  He "thinks" the other doc thought thrush, due to all the whiteness from these lesions.

So, not good. I wont get into a whole long dramatic story here.

Anyway, MS neuro called today, of course I couldn't pick up the phone and talk to her.  She told me on answering machine that she got a call from ENT, and we are stopping Tysabri for now, and various other things.

I am not allowed to even try to talk for a week and then we will see how it goes.

Always a new adventure.
Michelle

Michelle,
Hi, I am new to the diagnosis even though it took many years to get one. I hope your voice clears soon and your neuro gets u back on the right track. I haven't started meds yet but I will remember your experience.

Feel better...

So sorry Michelle... It just can't ever be anything easy can it?  Hang in there and do what the doctor says... My husband would love it if I couldn't talk for a week but I know that's got to be so hard...

Please keep us informed on how your doing...

I'll be praying,
Carol
