update...!!!! grrrrrrrrrr

well, you gotta love Dr's here in Canada......(NOT)   .....

Called my Dr. today and they sent off the requistion to the MS clinic.... WRONG PLACE !!!   it was supposed to go somewhere else, they don't do steroids applications at the clinic.

So, the nurse there, saw my stuff, and consulted with a neurologist from Vancouver, and he said, that they waited to long, and he felt that the steroids with make we worse.  So we upped the dose of Baclofen and was told to rest and wait it out....

Does this sound right to you guys ?  It just seems like when you need the Dr's they aren't there for us....

So upset.... was looking forward to feeling better soon...

Candy,
I'm not really sure there is a timetable as to when steroids will no longer be beneficial.  I think this is something you would want to talk out with the doctor the next time you are seen.

If you don't want to wait, pick up the phone and call them and ask for an answer.  I'm not sure why/how steroids would make you feel worse but maybe someone else here has a clue.

best, Lulu
