weekly roundup

It's Monday again!  What does everyone have going on this week?

I have a pretty busy week.  Tomorrow I have a dentist appt, and have to do all of my pre-op stuff for surgery next week.  Tomorrow night is my daughter's soccer banquet.

The rest of the week is full of appts as well.  This weekend I'll be clean housing, getting ready for my parents to come the following week.

I hope everyone has a great week!

I'm working most of the week.
Friday we're taking our husky in to see her internal medicine doctor for a check-up on her Addison's Disease.

Yesterday I faxed over my recent medical records to the Mayo Clinic.  We'll see if they call me for an appt....

Alex, I hope your CT scan comes up clear.
Hbananas, good luck at Johns Hopkins this week.

I go to Duke tomorrow for Cat Scan and big meeting with my cancer doctor about the future of my care. I have decided to ignore my 85% breast cancer risk for the time being. I just can't take anymore. A month after my last chemo my anorexia is no better. I do not like any food at all. I do not like chocolate, ice cream, any sweets, no snacks, no meat, cheese, nothing. I used to love fruits and vegetables and I can't even stand them. Over two years I have liked less and less food until now I hate all food. I even hate eating at any of my favorite restaurants with friends. I box it up and toss it in the trash when I get home so my friends do not know. I never thought it would be possible for me to dislike food. I try to eat like taking medicine but that is not working since I have been doing that for over two years.

I have a big week. Two MS Society functions. Someone wants to sell  some of my paintings so I am getting some together. I have therapy Thursday. I am walking with a friend every morning and cleaning the house as I can. I have six months worth of house work, not all at once. I can't lie here and look at the dust bunnies or clutter anymore.

I hope all goes well with everyone and your appointments this week.

This is my big trip to Baltimore to see a neurosurgeon at Johns Hopkins about the brain aneurysm for a second opinion.  Those appointments are Thursday and Friday.

Today I kicked it off by getting a cardioscan (aced it--zero calcifications) and a mammogram this afternoon.

This week I am doing the best I can to rest my legs and stay focused on office work. Other than that, I am hanging out with my wife and kids.

Have a great week everyone.

Praying neuro's office has a cancellation, otherwise I will wait until 12/20.  New glasses should be in Thursday, which neuro-ophtho's assistant said will solve all of my problems.  Praying he's right.  Work, work, work.

I am still recovering from my busy week last week!  I have nothing planned but watching the neighbors take down two very dangerous trees and errand day on Thursday (bills, groceries, etc) and "perhaps" a trip to VA if my son gets home in time......other than that, trying to take it easy

Everyone have a GOOD week.  Lulu, get some rest!!!!
