Beth,

I appalud you for going !! It takes great strength of character to go to your first reunion in a wheelchair but you show the world that MS can slow us down but not stop us.
I hope you have a wonderful time with your old high school buddies!
Ren
My 35th high school reunion is this weekend. I have not gone to any of them, and when I suddenly decide to do it I must see my school chums from a wheelchair. This seems pretty unfair. Oh well.........
Most sincerely,
Beth
Kelly,
Sorry that you are still feeling so tired and still don't have solid answers. Thank you for the well wishes for my ever swelling knee but that's the least o my worries and trivial to what so many ohters are going through, including you.
Ren
L, good luck with the big reveal.
Laura, have fun visiting with your husband's grandma - he's luck to still have her around.
Alex, I hope you find some relief soon and the Duke can take care of you.'
Sandy, good luck with the new neuro - hopefully they're a smart one.
Deb, have a fun time. I really hope you come back negative for the JC Virus so you can switch DMDs.
Ren, I hope your knee keeps feeling better. I don't know about voting on your journal??? I'll have to swing by and check it out (but right now I'm off to work).
I have an appt on Fri with an orthopedics doctor to look at my hip(s) to make sure nothing more than MS is going on.
Besides that, trying desperately hard not to fall asleep at my desk at work. I've already fallen asleep in the middle of 4 conversations with my partner & my brother. I'm just so exhausted all the time. I don't know what to do...

I'm just playing the waiting game for calls from doctors.
Alex- I hope the chemo side effects subside soon. What's this meeting with Duke? I got excited for you when I read that!!! I'm sure you'll be doing this, but please bring hubby along, as well as paperwork and a well documented history, including the type and quality of treatment you've received so far.
I will be thinking of you today and tomorrow, sending every possible bit of positive energy your way.
When you get into Duke, does that mean I can't root for my UConn Huskies?
Audrey
First time in a long time I am looking forward to a fun week :) no dr. Appointments! Yeah! My hubby and I are planning on spending next weekend at my friends beautiful lakeside camp in the Adirondacks- can't wait.
I had all my blood work done on Friday including testing for the JC virus. I hope it will be negative so I will be able to start my new DMD because this Copaxone sure isn't doing it for me.
Lulu- I hope all goes well for you and your foot problems will be a thing of the past.
Alex- my heart goes out to you. I am so sad to hear about your suffering.I wish you the best of luck at Duke!
Sandy- good luck at the neuro. I hope you receive good news :)
Laura- it was so nice to hear happy news from you. Congrats to your daughter!
Wishing a good week for all!
Cheers,
Deb
I stayed home half day sick because I couldn't sleep worth a darn last night. I had gunk in my left eye and my eyes burned so bad, I couldn't keep them open. I took a nap and feel a little better and I think I can handle working for four hours.
My 2nd opinion with the MS doctor is on Wednesday this week. I'm excited to do this but nervous at the same time. I just saw the notes on my file from my Neuro. She said the appearances and location of my lesions on my MRI are highly suggestive of MS. Wish me luck! Yikes!
Lulu, I hope the bandage removal goes smooth and it looks all healed up and pretty. :)
Laura, Congrats on your daughter making the team and enjoy your Grandmother visiting.
Alex, I'm so sorry you are feeling so sick. Keep up the good fight! We are all rooting for you. Hugs.
I know you don't want to hear sorry Alex, but I am. You're so strong and I have faith you'll get better.
In the mean time it's ok to vent. We all look for you to be positive, but everyone is human!
Love ya,
Laura
Laura congrats on your daughter making the team.
I am sicker than I have ever been. I would not wish this chemo on my worst enemy. Hanging on for my meeting at Duke tomorrow.
Alex
For once in my life I have no appts this week. My daughter made the school's soccer team and her first practice is tonight.
Other than that, my husband's Grandmother from FL is here tomorrow until Friday. I actually am looking fwd to that.
Have a great week everyone!
Laura
