whole world feeling weird

Hi I was just wondering what a relapse feels like, these last few weeks have been really bad for me, with severe vertigo and my entire left arm which goes numb for no reason as well as annoying tinnitus, and a little problem of bladder control at night, does this sound like a relapse or something, I was also on a months course of ARV's due to a needle stick injury and it has been playing merry havock with me and I'm wondering if that caused the symptoms to become worse, if anyone has any ideas it will be great, I'm off the arv but the symptoms are still ongoing

Hi serenity, the rule is when in doubt, contact your neuro's office for their advice.  My other rule is listen to your body and your instincts .... if you think you are in relapse, you probably are.  We know our bodies better than anyone else.

I hope you feel better soon - if not, call the doctor.

Hi to you. I do understand the feeling on not being well with multiple things happening. I'm no expert, but I consider it a flare whether brought on by stress or simply your injury stressing your body to relapse. I can never get my physician to understand the bladder discomfort or sensory problems, so I try to do thngs to relax me such as rest and meditation (just in a quiet place to think). None of this may help, but know I understand. I'm resting now with pain in my face that no one can diagnose and digestion and bladder dysfunction on going.  They acknowledge this is a flare, but only reccommend Neurontin as a remedie, which makes me sleepy. Are you taking any nerve medicine for the tinnitis?
