If you have lesions in the cerebellum it would probably be usual for symptoms originating from that part of the brain to be worse - ie balance, co-ordination etc but I'm not sure about the rest of the brain.
I have noticed memory lapses so bad that even one glass can result in a blackout/loss of most of the following hours.
Once upon a time consuming alcohol often resulted in severe balance problems, drastically altered gait and frequent memory loss. None of which had anything to do with MS :-)

Doesn't alcohol make us funnier, smarter, more attractive, and walk better? That all sounds like improvements to me! :-)
seriously, a small amount is normally ok, but be sure to check the meds you are on and as always, consult with your doctor.
Yes. I do. Therefore, I stopped consuming it.
I am not a big drinker. However, there was a time that it took more than 2 glasses of wine or liquor before I was full on tipsy and then a subsequent hangover the next day (incoordination, clumsiness, etc.).
The last few months, I feel buzzed after only ONE glass of wine and am always sick the next day (foggy and horrible balance). It's like I cannot process it anymore.
Is it aging or the affects of the alcohol on my already damaged brain (my brain has a lot of lesions) Who knows? But I decided I don't want to play that game anymore.
Good luck!
Gave it up many years before I ever suspected any neurological concerns, other than those it caused.
It would make sense, alcohol is a CNS depressant...as if your central nervous system isn't "depressed" enough....
