Quivering foruth finger on left hand

Doctor:

I recently noticed that the fourth finger on my left hand quivers when extended.  There is no noticeabe quiver when the finger is relaxed and curled slightly inwards towards the palm.  I am 57 and in good health. Could this be the precursor of something more serious?  I have hesitated to see my PC physician about this since I do not want any inquiry regarding the matter in my medical records. I will have to find new health insurance within the next six months and any mention of a neurological disorder could prevent me from getting health coverage.  Is it unswise of me to wait six months to address the matter of my of my finger with my PC physician?  Thanks for your response.

Dear Paul,
You can easily wait for next 6 months and once you get the insurance, you can go for the opinion.
Sometimes the quivering is merely due to lack of rest or muscle overactivity.
So just relax and lets weight.
