parasthesias

hi
whenever i put pressure on my left side of my body i get parasthesias. i cross my legs and get pulsating nerve running thru them. i lay on my back and i get the palm of my hand numb i cannot sleep as i sleep in the fetal position and the pulsating nerves wake me i had an emg and it stated ulnar nerve neuropathy at the wrist in both hands and l4 l5 radiculopathy. i have a mild disc bulge to the left  with disc material in the neural foramen my question is as follows
1 can you have nerve entrapement in several areas at once
2 could ulnar neuropathy and carpel tunnel be caused by compression or a virus
3i also have the burning skin sensation on both ankles is this from the disc bulge
4i have a strange feeling in one nostril could this be stress related as it almost feels like im short of breath
and lastly how can nerve entrapements be treated

Dear Friend,
Please find my answers below -

1 can you have nerve entrapement in several areas at once.
Yes a person may have nerve entrapment at various locations, and same can be due to various causes, which can be unrelated.

2 could ulnar neuropathy and carpel tunnel be caused by compression or a virus
Very few cases have confirmed the presence of virus, in compression.

3i also have the burning skin sensation on both ankles is this from the disc bulge
Burning sensations are generally due to neuropathy.
Neuropathy is due to diabetes/nerve compression.

4 i have a strange feeling in one nostril could this be stress related as it almost feels like im short of breath
This is a unrelated problem. ENT surgeon might be a good  help in this one

5 and lastly how can nerve entrapements be treated
      Entrapments are treated via
    A) Medical Management. Painkillers / Steriods
    B) Surgical Management. Relieving the entrapment by cutting the cause.

I hope i was able to answer your basic queries.
Please feel free to discuss, if still some are unanswered.
Regards
