My cousin has got serous accident and he is not in consious state for 4 weeks, where as his boy is functioning as daily routine.Even he is reacting if we touch his bidy. But he is not opening his eyes . Any body know what kind of state is this ? and what action should take ?

In order to assess brain function, they do a test called an EEG, it measures brainwaves and activity.They would have to have one around the beginning of this, or now, and another one later. This will tell whether your cousin is progressively worsening or improving.
