Alright,
So this is a strange question.
I don't have amnesia or have ever suffered from it. I'm actually writing a story.
Is it even medically conceivable and possible for this to happen. Can someone's amnesia attack a different part of the brain, where they don't forget memories, but they more along lines of lose their personality... And become a blank slate in that regard? They lose their personality, attitudes towards things, etc...
Basically in a nutshell, my story is about a kid who gets amnesia, and he was miserable before the accident, but the amnesia makes him forget who he is internally.
Like is this possible? Is their a medical name?
Any help would be appreciated!
