constant back and leg pain

I am 13months post op, 3 surgeries within 10 months.Damage to L5-S1 nerve root first surgery. Constant low back, leg and foot pain, Pain meds only decrease intensity. I have numbness and tingling of foot and lower leg(calf). Currently going to physical therapy and use a nerve stimulator at home. Unable to find any relief. Are there posible causes that I could look into and refer to my MD for investigation.Surgeries were discectomy, lysis of scar tissue, spinal fusion (PLIF)

I had surgery for repair of spinal stenosis 2 yrs ago on the 29th of this month. I am in constant back pain. The pain in my left hip with my sciatic nerve screeming. The pain gets so bad at night that I am unable to sleep and I get up with severe pain. I take pain pills which has messed up my stomach. I was taking nexium then my insurance company decided that they would not pay for it. I have tried every other stomach med available and nothing else works. Does anyone have similar problems after spinal stenosis surgery? I was told the scar tissue has built up a little bit. I was given exercises to stengthen my back, only to make the pain so severe I couldn't take it. I am unable to ride in a car if there is a vibration it sets of the nerves in my back and leg. Has anyone else had similar problems with this surgery? How do you get relief?
