numbness and weakness

at night one or both arms go numb-starting at shoulder and down to my fingers, my shoulders feel very tight and have limited movement in them lately, sometimes my arms/ hands will go numb sitting at work doing nothing and it lasts all day, now i am experiencing weakness  in my hands and legs, hard to pick up small objects or button coat etc.. I am worried  it coudl be MS symtoms
what type doctor should i see to get tests to see what this is

Hi,
The symptoms descried by you seems to be more of neurological in origin which could be due to pathology in cervical vertebral level to some compression at the root of the neck.
Have an cervical region x-rays done in combination with chest x-ray if required.THis is to rule out if you do have an abnormal extra rib.

Have an orthopedic opinion apart from neurologist.

You should see a Neurologist. A Neurologist is specialized in problems with such symptoms. You will be thoroughly examined and asked to do certain tests to diagnose your condition.
