Brain Tumor/Cyst

M/26 Ive been getting really bad head aches about 2-3 times a mouth when i wake up in the morning.  These headaches make me really dizzy, and make me vomit.  After i vomit i dont feel sick anymore but the headache stays with me for like 3-4 days.  I recently went and had an MRI, i was then sent to see a neurosurgen.  The first neursurgen i saw said that i had a tumor on my cerebellum, and that they should remove it in the next few weeks.  He said it was 2.4cm by 1.4cm. We then went to get a second opinion.  Just because i wanted to find a doctor i was comfortable with to do the surgey.  Well that neurosurgen told me that it was a cyst and that we need to monitor it, and come back in a month to see him, and then in 3 months get another MRI.  Is it common for 2 different opinions from to different doctors?  What should i do if it is a cyst to make it go away or get better, what would they have to do to remove it?  Is there any websites or places to find out more information on brain cysts?  How would they be able to tell from the MRI which one it is?  I just have alot of questions because im so confused on the whole thing and not alot of people i know have gone through someting like this.  Any help you can give would be great.

Richard, I have two brain cysts that cause seizures and migraines. unforchantly I can not have surgery because of where the cysts are located. I have been taking topamax for both the seizures and migrianes. Its working well and I have lost 50 lbs. I do have to have mri every year and they have stayed the same from the first mri. and believe me I have had about 50 mri's (no joke) ask the dr if there is non-surgical way to stop the pain and remember that a tumor grows and a cyst is just a mass by definition. I understand how you feel,  good luck and keep me posted.
