Bubble in the head

Hi,

My daughter complained that she had bubble in the head during swimming lesson.
Is this related to ear infection?

Thanks for the information.
I will try your suggestion.
I also checked up with the swimming coach.
According to him, water normally only seep through the cavity arounf the ENT. He is not aware of interference to the head.

Hi!
Yes, a feeling of bubble in the head can be due to ear infection or water in the ear. Ask your daughter to try the valsalva method (take a deep breath and blow while pinching your nostrils shut and closing your mouth). This will help clear the secretions or water in the tube that connects the back of throat with ear. If the feeling persists, please consult your doctor. Take care!
