Constant Upper Back Pain

I have had upper right back pain for about 2 years.  I go to a chiropractor and it feels better for a while.  I am finally getting feed up with the constant pain and tingling by my right shoulder blade.  It is constant and getting worse.  Just touching that spot on my back sends tingling all over.  I was told it didn't seem like a bugling disc because I had good reflexes in my arms and it could possible be a nerve problem.  Does that sound right?  What can I do to get this tingling to go away.  I have tried Aleve but that doesn't help and when I get tense the pain is unbareable. The chiropracor didn't even seem all that alarmed and basically stated that he couldn' help me.  I can't live with this constant pain and tingling, what can I do?  What could it be?

Yes, you should get a C-spine mri to ck the disks for nerve
compression or a bulge, etc. May go up to read my post to
shaci-10/9 abt his problem. C6 to C7 can also make thumb &
fingers go numb. Relay is spine to shoulder to wrist. An emg
can tell where problem is but mri is 1st step. Gd-luck.
