wow, and I was thinking of moving...murders and all ....gangs fighting and such, let me know where u r so I can avoid moving there!! OMG, it's a shame that u can't trust ur neighbors...a few yrs back my neighbor erected a fence on my property, dug up my flowers and covered them w/plastic and white stones......so I do understand problems w/neighbors......
u said u had a spinal tap, but I guess they didn't check for MS then......
is ur dog ok?

I'm not sure about the MS part....I hope I don't have MS but I would just have to deal with it if I did. I've had spinal taps to check for menengitis and all sorts of other things, to no availe. As for NES......mine are caused by acute stress and stress reaction.....PTSD to the extreme of the mind not wanting to cooperate with the body and vise-versa. I have experienced several extremely horrifying and some even graphic such as car accidents as a child that scarred me for life. But the more recent things happened in 2004 and caused me to have an MI. Myocardial Infarction. (Heart Attack). It's been down hill since then.I only drive if I have to and always with my wife in the car with me. The seizures don't happen often unless I am at that time under severe stress......and I don't mean like losing your job stress......more like crazy neighbors trying to kill your dog and burn down your house stress. You never truly know who is living next to you until you have a disagreement with something they did.........then WATCHOUT. Anyway......the shocks are more of the issue medically now. The neighbors have security cameras watching them now.
...wow, I know ur concerns, I have had "blackouts" and I avoid driving for the same reasons. The transverse myelitis, is that a condition that is present with MS?
What is the cause of NES?

I just had another shock. This time I was doing dishes and broke a glass on the counter-top in the process. This is very scary to me because I don't want it to cause any harm to anyone else....ie, while driving or something. I'm wondering if transverse myelitis might be a cause or if the ischemic disease is the culprit. So many questions with no answers.
NES is Non-Epileptic Seizures. I have had CT of the entire brain but only found out that I have acute small vessel ischemic disease. Not sure if that has anything to do with the shocks though.....I also have severe migraines and have not found the trigger since they started when I was 11.
I am sorry, but what is NES?...also u said u had a CT of ur head...the entire head, would that be of the brain?....have u had any trauma to head, neck or back???.....really don't know what to tell u, except that I understand ur frustration at getting a dx and treatment.
Good luck
