What do these MRI results mean?

Sagittal images demonstrate a normal C1-2 relationship with an intact odontoid properly aligned with the clivus. There is straightening of the normal cervical lordosis. Normal marrow signal is seen. No compression fractures are identified.

Postoperative findings are seen at the C5-6 and C6-7 level with interbody fusion. There is an anterior cervical locking plate identified.

Loss of normal disc signal is seen C2-C5 compatible with degenerative disease with subligamentous disc material mildly effacing ventral thecal sac.

Uncinate hypertrophy and facet arthropathy is noted. There is minimal C7-T1 degenerative anterolisthesis.

Axial images demonstrate midline focal subligamentous inferiorly and superiorly extruded C3-4 and C4-5 disc material with resulting mild central cord flattening. There is otherwise no cord contact or compromise.

The foramina are normal at the C2-3 and C3-4 level. There is moderate right and mild-to-moderate left C4-5 stenosis. There is moderate bilateral C5-6 stenosis. There is mild to moderate bilateral C6-7 stenosis. There is no C7-T1 stenosis identified.

No intradural lesions are seen with normal cord. Craniocervical junction is unremarkable. Paravertebral soft tissues are unremarkable as well.
