May need straightened out on this...I've read that Magnesium is found in nuts, dried peas and beans, whole grain cereals such as oatmeal, millet, and brown rice, dark green vegetables, bone meal, blackstrap molasses, brewer's yeast, soy products, dark green vegetables. Is this true? If it is, would eating more of these foods, such as nuts, whole grain cereals, and dark green vegetables, also help the headaches? If I had a better diet of these food maybe that would help? Something not mentioned was that I've been diagnosed as depressed and have wondered if that had anything to do with headaches? I've not taken medication for depression in years and have been too embarrassed about it to return to the doctor and mention that I'm still in that state. Also, when I was about 4 years old a CT and MRI was done and one of them revealed that I have "small sharp bones" growing inside my sinuses??? Have you ever heard of this? I guess I just need to make a doctor's appointment, but the doctor's I've gone to have been no help so far. You've given me a little bit of courage and confidence again to possibly make an appointment, since you actually listened to my problem and responded with what I think is a helpful answer. Thank you. Hope you can answer my other questions as well.
Thank you for your response. I will make an appointment and ask my Doctor about Magnesium tablets. That is something I have never even heard of. Thanks again.
Hello.
I can understand what you are going through. There are so many medicines available, but you can't take them due to the allergy. Why don't you try Magnesium tablets? From your description, it looks like this is a migraine headache. Magnesium helps. You could ask your Neurologist to prescribe you this.
I am not sure if CT or MRI will show anything.
