Forehead twitching after taking Abilify

I took Abilify for some days and now i feel twitching in my forehead. It is not painful but it makes unfocused when trying to study. Are there any treatments? The psychiatrist who gave me Abilify said it would go away by itself but it's been over a week now and is still there.

Those twitches could well be a side effect/adverse effect from the Abilify.  Keep "bothering" your psych about it because it could progress into further difficulty with abnormal movements.  Cogentin is one of the medications that can help stop the abnormal twitches.  Good luck!

Temporary  movement disorders are a common side effect of all antipsychotics including Abilify. They can be treated with a side effect pill  within a psychiatrist's clinical discretion. There are a variety of options and it would be worthwhile to ask your psychiatrist to see if one might help.
