Head jerking and twitching

My son has been having twitches once in a while with his head.  It started a few months ago.  These past couple of weeks it has gotten progressively worse.  Today it seem to have been pretty constant.  He has had 5 seizures just this past year for the first time in his life.  Is it related to the seizures or what else could it be?  Thank you for your time.

Your son's head twitches may be the beginning of a tic.
This can be reduced by increasing the magnesium in his diet.

Read this information, http://www.ctds.info/mgtourettes.html

Low magnesium can also cause seizures.
