Several weeks ago I got a massive headache in the right side of my head. I went to the ER, and they ran a CT Scan and they said it was a sinus infection and perhaps some fluid buildup around my mastoid. The doctor put me on antibiotics and my headache did go away.
But for the past couple of days, I have had some tingling headaches that originate in the back of my head and has spread all over. Whenever I roll my neck around, the pain heightens in the upper part of my neck and back of my head. The pain isn't too severe, mostly just a "pins-and-needles" type of pain. Other times, the pain seems to be more of a burning pain, that just radiates, but still isn't too bad as far as severity (and I don't think I have a fever). The OTC pain relievers aren't really working right now, as the pain continues.
I am a 21-year-old senior in college applying for law school, but I don't feel like I am too stressed. I am overweight, but my blood pressure is normal. I don't drink too often and don't smoke at all.
On a side note, I did go to the hospital for chest pain a couple weeks ago and it turned out to be acid reflux from the antibiotics I was taking for the sinus infection, and they didn't think anymore of it.
Anybody got any ideas what could be causing this?
