Headaches and neckpain

For the past 2 months i've had headaches and ive taken advil and motrin and it would stop, the past 4 weeks now ive been taking medicine and it won't stop. I've taken a lot of antibiotics, and I've been to the hospital and they've said its a sinus infection, i've taken medicine for sinus infections and didn't stop either. I went for an xray of my sinus and it came out clear. I have no health problems from the past. Also, the past 15 days I've had a really bad neck pains. To describe my headaches, They start on the front of my head and move backwards. They come as in shocks, every 10 minutes staying for about 1-2 minutes. These shocks are really painful. On a scale of 1 - 10, 10 being the most painful, it would be 7 or 8. I really wanna know what it is, or any possibilities of what it could be. I'm only 14 years old, so i don't think it can be arthritis or anything like that. Also, would it help if I get an MRI or CT scan?
Thank you =)

I only did the first dose of the vaccine, I opted to not try and get the 2nd and 3rd doses. I don't think it will hurt you if you don't get the others, so do NOT worry about that! Ask your Mom if she's ever heard of neurology chiropractors? There is only a few of them in the US, but they're pretty cool! So, do not worry about the doses, I think your Mom is doing the right thing by holding off on you getting them. Let me know if you have any other questions!! :-)

A quick question, what happens if I don't take the 3rd dose? I have the 3rd in august, and my mom says she doesnt want me to take it. Whats your opinion on that?

Thank you =)
My mom is a chiropractor and she said the nerves in the back of my head weren't right, but she doesn't know anything about neurology so I'll have to wait. Thank you so muchh =)

Keep me posted hun!!! Keep the faith!!! That gardasil is a scary thing, I think they are using it for the right reasons, but they havent done enough research on it yet to really know what it can and cannot do to people in regards to what reactions it has, etc. Chiropractors can help, especially ones who are certified in neurology. I went to one and he was great.

It started like 2 hours after I got the shot. And yes sometimes I feel dizzy, like I'm about to just pass out. And I'm spending tomorrow going to a few doctors. I don't if it can help, but basically tomorrow I'm going to my pediatrician getting a request for an MRI, then going to a chiropractor or a neurologist (im not sure), then getting the MRI..
And I just looked it up on google.. seems scary.. i dont know.
But about the gardasil, my mom believes it has to do with the shot, since the first time i got the shot I got sick too.
But yeah, im going to the doctors tomorrow =/

Ohhh speaking of Gardasil shot!! Did you have a bad reaction to that shot? I did!! Within 30 seconds of me getting it, I started to profusely sweat and had intense pain in my neck and passed out cold...I couldn't move for about 30 minutes afterwards, and I think that vaccination has something to do with all of my current symptoms. Do you have any balance/dizziness problems?? You need to go back to your doctor for sure!

MS is multiple sclerosis and is an autoimmune condition in which the immune system attacks the central nervous system, leading to demyelination. Look it up sometime on google.

get your self to another doctor!

I had the pain in my nose, and my eyes were hurting, thats why they said i had a sinus infection. And i've tried migraine medicine, 3 diff kinds. none help. And the big glob of snot, I feel that all the time, every time I swallow its heavy and kinda painful. I also have a runny nose and a really bad cough. everytime i cough the headache on the top of my head comes really bad.
Also, I recently (by recently 3-4 weeks) I took the gardasil shot
and in febuary I took the meningitus shot.
Could that have any link?
Also what is MS?

What were your symptoms of the sinus infection for them to consider doing the xray of your sinuses? I'm curious...I have symptoms like that of MS, and one of my most concerning ones is trouble swallowing and at times I feel like I'm trying to swallow a big glob of snot...it's frightening. I would suggest seeing a neurologist if you're describing your headaches as 'shocks.' Do you have migraines? I know you're only 14, but if the meds didn't help your infection, you need to see your doctor again.
