pinched nerve???

i think i might have a pinched nerve. I get burning sensations and tightness in my neck and shoulders resulting in shooting pains in my head which my doctor has said is migrains. I am not sure if I agree. any advice

the migraine medicine my doc as prescribed has helped but the buring sensation in my neck and shoulders has sense been worse. It comes and goes. sometimes nothing for days othertimes on and off all day. My doctor has been less than helpful with answering my questions

Hi,
There are few causes that can cause shooting pains.
It would be immature to wildly guess at it. You require an evaluation. Since your doctor has prescribed drugs for migraine, continue with them and record any benefit of it.
