Hi All, I had struggled with many of these same symptoms - warm head and ears, sore spots, and pressure on both sides of my skull just behind my ears, vertigo when leaning over to pickup something or lift any heavy weights, etc. as well as elevated blood pressure. After months of zero progress with doctors, my primary care pointed out I was vitamin D deficient. I started a course of vitamin D plus vitamin K2 and magnesium and within a week felt MUCH better. Within a month, all my symptoms were gone and my vitamin D level was back to normal. Bottom line was, go to your primary GP and get a blood test for vitamin D deficiency to see if that will help resolve your symptoms. Best of luck.
it sounds like hot flashes 2 me but i would still talk to the doctor. Good luck!
About 5 years ago I had the same burning, but mine was mainly in my head. It felt like my head was on fire. Some neurologist that I saw back then, did a CT scan with contrast and didn't find anything, but said that since I had a lot of stress, I had a lot of headaches (actually it turned into a continuous headache for 1 1/2 years), which caused the muscles in my head to spasm and then go into knots - causing the muscle burn feeling. They tried a couple different types of medicines, but they all had side effects that I didn't particularly care for, so I stopped taking them after about a month or so. Eventually my headache went a way, but it took some time and it just came back about 6 months ago, but I have several other symptoms along with it. After several doctors, specialists, blood tests, MRI's, and a few other tests, I still ended up with a neurologist, but this time with a good one. I'm very hopeful that soon they will be able to figure something out. I would definately go to a neurologist and have them check it out. Good luck and keep me posted!
