Neuropathy

I am a female 58 yrs old and am experiencing regular fasciculations (all parts of my body including what feels like my heart) and extremety changes (primarily legs and feet).    I say "changes" because they feel different such as wiggly, wobbly, and the shape is changing.  I went through a major stress situation when my husband had ALS (passed away 2 years ago) and when I went to doctors, they simply said it must be stress and wanted to give me anti-depressants. I did not take them and  I do not feel stressed now. After persuing the problem, a neurologist did administer MRIs and an EMG about 3 years ago and they were negative. When problems persisted I went to an Internist who said I have neuropathy since there was a pain down the side of my leg.   She said there is nothing that can be done. Since then I have seen an acupuncturist who described the neuron synapasis as nerve and muscles not communicating. He wouldn't take the description further.  Last summer I had increased difficulty breathing (I have asthma so this happens every year or so) and when I went to the doctor, they sent me to a pulmulnologist who gave no relief. When I described my fasciculations, the doctor (different MD than the one that gave me the neuropathy diagnosis) then sent me to a neurologist who gave me a few of the standard strength tests and then said EMG again. I haven't gone for the test yet.  I don't want to bounce around doctors but frankly, I have no confidence that I am being taken seriously nor are the tests and examinations thorough.  Please help me determine the correct approach.

I can't really help you but I have some of the things you have and have just been given more meds b/c she says it's "anxiety" and I don't believe it. I think the 'doctors' need to go back to school, or study more for a particular case and not just rely on what they already know. I'm sick of going thru this and it scares me.
