Imbalance and Disequilibrium, not dizziness

Recently I started having this feeling of imbalance, as if the ground were not completely flat.  It is not a spinning sensation.  I can really feel it when I walk around but it is less obvious when I sit still.  I had a weaker form of this a few months ago. I had an MRI done a few months ago and it was fine.  This imbalance went away during summer vacation.  It came back two weeks ago when I had acid reflux so bad I couldn't swallow solid food for a few days, but now I am recovering from the acid reflux.  That illness gave me a few panic attacks and now have I depression.   I know anxiety can cause imbalance but I wonder if this is a neuro problem and not an anxiety issue.

Also, the ear doctor confirms it is not an ear problem.

Thanks

IMO, still sounds like a anxiety issue.  All the symptoms you describe are also signs of anxiety.  Never can rule out other problems though.  Anxiety is a major disorder in that it can mimic a variety of disorders and scare the **** out of us.  And many times people will go thru so many tests to rule every medical illness out.  And it happens over and over again.  Not a bad idea though to rule  out other  possibilites.  Just tends to become a neurotic tendency lol
