Left side tingling and weakness, all tests normal!

I have had left side tingling for the past three years. This past year I have developed numb areas on my left calf and upper thigh (and no hair grows there anymore), however after I rub it a few seconds it does regain feeling. I am constantly having cramps in the bottom of my foot and left buttocks. I have had an MRI with contrast on my brain that showed fluid behind my ear, but no one was concerned. I have had MRIs of my cervical spine and lumbar spine that show degenerative disc changes, but ortho doesn't feel nerves are being pinched. When I sit my left leg goes numb all over including the groin area. When I stand or walk the left leg is weak and the bottom of my foot tingles and is painful. I get random numbness and tingling in my left hand, left side of my scalp and around the eye and lip. I just keep getting told I have this or that but not enough to cause these issues. (osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia) Just this week I have had this weird symptom show up. I keep getting this heat to my face and my cheeks turn red and hot, but it does go away so I dont think it is the Lupus butterfly thing. May not even be related..just annoying. I feel like I am blushing all the time.
My doctor is lost, ortho told me she "is not a miracle worker", am being scheduled for yet another neurologist appt. I would like to know some info going in for that appointment. I am sooo tired of being told they dont see anything. grrr
Thank you!!

Oh, be sure you ask the neurologist to look for areas of demyelination in your spine and/or brain MRIs in case your symptoms are being caused by something like multiple sclerosis. This seems less likely, but still a valid consideration with your symptoms.

I hope this helps!

I'd ask the neurologist to personally look at your cervical/lumbar spine MRIs; it sounds like you have spinal nerve damage or compression of some sort. While the ortho doesn't think nerves are being pinched, maybe the neurologist will have a different opinion.

This tingling and numbness is generally persistent, right? Or are you having episodes of tingling/numbness?

Fibromyalgia can easily be ruled out by testing the pain points (have a GP do this) attributed to the disease. If you don't feel pain when they are stimulated, then you probably don't have fibromyalgia.

Issues with blushing are related to the vagus nerve, I believe, which runs down your neck and near your heart. This is more evidence that you have an issue with your nerves, likely in the cervical region.
