I can't control my left hand or arm.

It is in the middle of the day and I notice that my left hand feels strange. It feels almost like it is not there, but there is a real weak feeling up my arm. I have Addison's or so they say. I am Adrenal Insufficient, but that is another story. *(Cortisol low and ACTH with Pigmentation) ??
Anyway, I want to know what would make me not be able to make my hand function and it to be weak? I do have trembling hands that drive me crazy and when, I go to do something they shake more. I seem to always have a fine tremor, but comes and goes in severity. I also have involuntary muscle movements that no one has given me the answer to. I thought for a long time it was MS ..and now, I still do...or a tumor in my brain.
I do have to take some strong medications, but been on them for over 5yrs...so, don't see that being the reason.(Fentany patch for over 5 disk hern., Norco breakthrough, Gabapentin 3-300mg. a day, Xanax for the tremors-only as needed) I am very careful with that last one..scared of it, but can't take flexeril or bacolfen...makes me nauseated. I also have been dx'd with a CM(Chiari Malformation-6.5mm, AVM (Arterior Vascular Malformation, Fibromyalgia, etc. Is this Parkinson's? I am sure wondering..
Now, I been taking the Hydrortisone for over a yr., for the Addison's. Could it be the reason that I am shaking? Maybe, they dx'd me wrong...I donno. I just want to know why I have all this trouble with tremors, shaking and the involuntary jerks.
Thank you, for any information you can give me.

Thank you for your response. I am looking into getting an MRA. I have been told by several people and even, a couple of Docs that I needed to get one. Also, I would love to get a Cine MRI. Standing up..getting that done, might give some answers too.
God Bless and thanks again. Karen

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi!
I am sorry to hear about your medical problems. Since you have adrenal gland problems, possibility of low blood sugar, electrolyte imbalance and thyroid problems too should be looked into. All these can cause tremors and spasms of fingers/hands/muscles. It can also be a pinched nerve in neck. Anxiety, stress, too much intake of coffee/tea/alcohol/smoking can also precipitate this. Also, most of the medications you are taking an precipitate tremors at some point of time, even after years. Please discuss all these possibilities with your doctor. Multiple sclerosis and Parkinsonism should be considered if other possibilities are ruled out. Take care!

The medical advice given should not be considered a substitute for medical care provided by a doctor who can examine you. The advice may not be completely correct for you as the doctor cannot examine you and does not know your complete medical history. Hence this reply to your post should only be considered as a guiding line and you must consult your doctor at the earliest for your medical problem.
