MRI report

Good evening, just looking for an interpretation of my brain scan.   "Within the right frontal white matter, three small foci of T2 hyperintensity are seen which represent non speciific white matter disease.  May be related to small vessel ischemia, vasculitis or potentially demyelinating disease." Guess I'm asking if anyone dx with MS had a similar report.  Thanks

Hi.

I am not sure if you got any answers to your question. But your MRI is pretty much inconclusive as far as the possibility of MS is concerned.

The MRI shows non-specific changes. They could be due to transient loss of blood supply to the areas. The lesions in MS are usually periventricular, and are arranged transversely. Had this been there, the radiologist would have reported it.
