Hello dear and welcome to the medhelp forum. The cervical curve is normally like a C pointing towards the back of neck. This helps to stabilize the head and spine and loss of this curvature can lead to fatigue and other symptoms. You would need supervised management from a neurologist. The degenerative changes in the disc between C5 C6 could be age related or secondary to trauma or wear and tear. There is formation of bony spurs or growths at C4 vertebral body. Both these changes can cause nerve root compression and neurological symptoms of compression. Management would depend on the severity of symptoms and would include, special exercises, physiotherapy, anti inflammatories, steroid injection at the mentioned level epidurally. Surgical decompression if conservative measures fail. Best wishes to you.
The C-spine curvature is straightening out, which is NOT good. The curvature helps absorb shock and is important to support your head properly. Then, you have a some bone spurring at C4. The degenerative changes at C5-6 means just that; it is degenerating (weaking).
I am not sure what you did or do for a living/employment or what your activites are....... I wouldn't recommend putting alot of strain on your neck PERIOD.
I sure you are having pain with this perhaps not often.
Are you seeing an Ortho Specialist? You should be prescribed exercises for this.
