Have you had a follow up appt. with the Neurosurgeon since the MRI? I would ask what restrictions at this visit, what the plan of care is (what he plans on doing), and ask any questions at this time. If you don't have a appt. coming up, call the office and request that he/she call you back and make a list of your questions and have it by the phone..but don't get long-winded, otherwise make an appt.
neurosurgeon asked the MRI.
Given that you are having difficulty walking, I would contact your doctor. What type of doctor ordered the MRI? If not a neurosurgeon, you should be referred to one.
In the meantime, avoid heavy lifting, bending over at the waist, or getting constipated and having to strain to push until you see the doctor. You may be facing surgery, but this may alleviate your symptoms. But you need to be evaluated by a neurosurgeon first.
