MS or not

I was diagnosed in 5/2007 with fibromyalgia.  After going to a new doctor about 3 months ago (my doctor had left the practice) we were going over all the symptoms I was  having that range from blurry vision with eye pain to total black vision, draggin of left leg when walking, loss of strength and migraine headaches and extreem fatigue to the point of not being able to funtion - all of this was  on top of the pain from my fibro (back, knees, hips, neck, elbows etc).  The first black vision I ever had was at 17 yrs of age when I was watering plants on my mother's porch, I lost all vision and was not able to speak or move for several minutes.
My new dr. thought that maybe there maybe symptoms of MS and sent me for an MRI - This is what the report said and now the dr says no to MS.  Can you please put this report into laymans terms so that I can understand what it means.

There are several small foci of T2 and FLAIR hyperintense signal involving the subcortical white matter of both frontal lobes.  Additional small focus on T2 and FLAIR hyperintense signal involves the left periatrial white matter.  NO focal lesions involving the corpus callosum or posterior fossa structures.

No space occupying mass lesions, abnormal enhancement or hydrocephalus.

Diffusion imageing is unremarkable.

Mild uncovertebral spurring to the right at C3-4 resulting in mild right sided foraminal narrowing.

Thanks so much for this service - It will let me know if I need to get a second opion, I have already obtained a disk with the images and have the report and copies of all the blood work up done a couple of weeks  prior.

They show: SED RATE 7
                  HGBA1C 5.0
                  TSH 1.240
                  B12 419
                  FOLATE 7.9
IMMS - No momoclonal protein detected
                  TP(SK) 7.2
                   ALB(SK) 4.2
                   ALPHA-1 GLOB 0.3
                   ALPHA-2 GLOB 0.8
                   BETA GLOB 1.2
                   GAMMA GLOB 0.8
INTERPRETATION - Protein electrophoresis pattern appears normal
                   ANA SCREEN - Negative
                   LYME - Negative

basically the impression said that the signal were nonspecific and more likely reflective of minimal small vessel degererative changes, not typical of demyelinating disease and
on the spine no intrinsic abnormalities involving the cerical or visualized upper thoracic spinal cord, mild uncovertebral spurring of the right at c3-4 resulting in right sided foraminal narrowing.
however, my neuro. said that my symptoms still support a poss. dx of ms and wants to send me to UNC Hospital MS center for further testing.
