Hi,
When did you start getting these types of pain? Is there a trigger for these headaches?
Sharp short lasting pain suggests the possibility of neuralgia. These pains typically last for 20-120 seconds and are sharp, burning in character.
I would suggest you to schedule an appointment with a specialist as soon as possible and get yourself evaluated.
Hi there.
These type of pain can be from several causes. One is that there can be localized nerve compressions from the origins of the nerves from the spine itself. This should be evaluated using an MRI procedure. Another possibility is nutritional deficiency of micronutrients such as the B vitamins which can likewise present with this neuropathic type of pain. Stress is an important and commonly overlooked cause, with improvement in symptoms coming after adequate rest.
Since there are several possibilities, it is best that this should be assessed by your doctor. Regards and God bless.
