Myokymia

Eliane would like to know more about Myokymia and Essential Tremor. Do both of these disorders have something do to with the other. She had the Essential Tremor and Myokymia about 24 years, but not an actual diagnosis until about four years ago.

Up until about six months ago she was having non stop tremors in the left eye and accompanied with double vision 24 hours a day for a length of two years.

The center of the eyeball would travel towards the corner of the eye closest to the nose.

The past six months or so has been tremor free in the eye and without the double vision as well.

Does Myokymia stop for a period of time? Will it come back? Is Myokymia related to the Essential Tremor disorder?
