Numbness in face, hand and leg

Hi.. i am a 28 yo female. in 1998 i was involved in a motor vehicle accident, resulting in L2-5 fracture.. after spinal fusion i was left with a R foot drop and muscle atrophy. Within the past year or so my left side has been going numb, face right arm and right leg - knee down. My lower back is very tight, as is my neck - most of the time. i compensate with my left leg for my weak righ leg. the numbness is more frequent, especially in the face (lip, ear eye) and pinky finger (R) .. I am very worried as to what this could be - further nerve damage or could it be because of my tight muscles (like legs going numb if i sit on them for too long?) Please advise - i am very worried.

thank youin advance

Possible that Chiari was missed?  Often Chiari is assoiciated with moter vehicle accidents, and your symptoms fit!  Ask them to look for it!

HI Kalvin - thank you for  your reply.. there was no damage to cervical - MRIs were all fine. But like I said neck, shoulders and lower back muscles get very tense and tight - i usually get this numb feeling after a long day, for instance - right now  do not feel it. again thank you.

Any damage in your Cervical spine from this accident? Have you had an MRI of this area?
