Thankyou. Neurologist appointment booked and hope to rule out demyelinating disorders. I have worked very hard recently ,moved, and lost a member of my family. Hopefully it is stress.

Hi there.

These symptoms may be due to localized nerve problems (such as compression of nerves in a carpal tunnel syndrome) or with more generalized conditions such as demyelinating disorders (MS) or conditions like ALS.  However, stress is still the most common explanation for this and it is really best to have this checked by your doctor.  From the physical neurologic exam alone, your doctor may be able to pinpoint the condition. For now, avoid too much stress and have adequate rest.

Regards and God bless.
