Positive Syrinx stories?

Has anyone got any positive experiences.

I am an extremely fit and active person and mid thirties. Around a year ago a football was vollied very hard into my face causing my neck to be swung back violently, a sort of whiplash injury. Neck pain, clicking and mild occipital headaches from that day. After much persistence I got an MRI, and it turns out I have a syrinx about 3.3mm by 20mm at c6-c7. I also have additional symptoms which have become evident more recently, sweating on and off mostly at night, leg weakness (Not sure if this is in my head or an actual of anxiety), finger tremors, balance is not as good, lots of clicking in my thoracic when i pull my shoulders back.

Apart from the syrinx everything appears completely normal on the MRI and the report says that I have a dilated central canal.

Anyway, I know most people on this site are on here because they have an issue, but it would be interesting to hear of some stories of spontaneous resolution and syrinx that have got smaller. I would like to know what I can do to make this better. The body is an incredible machine and I'm sure it can fix itself eventually. I have stopped weight training and running (As I read this is not good), but have started swimming, yoga and cycling.

Be great to hear from you!

Thanks
