As an option do research about celiac/gluten intolerance and dermatitis herpetiformis (skin condition associated with gluten intolerance).
Thanks Mr. Newey, i appreciate your response to my inquiry and you have provided me with helpful information, i have already ruled it as a definant possible combo complex due to mildly poored circulation from minor amusement smoking and scrapping free cigarrettes for personal amusement, it affects my stress and anxiety levels, smoking is not a thing to do, even as a minor kick out of getting buzzed, alchahol suits physical health better, if you drink safely and occassionally instead of weeks straight, where as smoking is made of drug chemicals and destroys the organs that support life, like i was saying, the tiny twitches have calmed after the last year, the chilblains on my small toes and the brown discolorations atop my feet are fading to white, and my airways and lungs explode for more air, a relieving warm sensation comes over my body once in a while, especially more when i get tired, i also noticed not being as sedentary has improved things. Well doc, i will live a long happy eternal life possibly now i can tell you hat, and i had some other questions off topic down below, could you answer them for me, thank you, and have a great one.
1: I have looked once in a while at info sources, and their is stories of people that have used methods to self cure cancer, baking soda, excercise, nutrition, on brain tumors, lung, liver, prostate, especially the hype and study of vitamin D, does vitamin D destroy cancer and self cure it, Vitamin C prevents it, my grandfather i never met died at 40 he had benign lung cancer and benign heart problems, my uncle Steve J was born with a huge brown cancer cell on his face, i was wondering, is their self cures for cancer?
2: Are viruses curable by the immune system, even with or without remedies, vaccinations, antibiotics, like small pox, ALS, dystrophy, AIDS, Polio, Scarlett Fever, Parkinsons disease, Epilepsy?
3: Is it true that people who never catch bacterial infection or virus or catch a fever is a clue behind being extremely healthy?
Thanks for using the forum. I am happy to address your questions, and my answer will be based on the information you provided here. Please make sure you recognize that this forum is for educational purposes only, and it does not substitute for a formal office visit with a doctor.
Without the ability to examine and obtain a history, I can not tell you what the exact cause of the symptoms is. However I will try to provide you with some useful information.
It must be emphasized that in the MAJORITY of cases muscle twitches are benign meaning that they are of no consequence and are not resulting from a serious cause. In such cases, the twitches may be related to anxiety/stress, caffeine, and often occur after recent strenuous activity or muscle over-use. It is important in such cases to reduce stress/anxiety levels and to reduce caffeine intake. Tremors of the hands can be physiological that is exacerbated by stress/anxiety and caffeine.
Benign fasciculation syndrome, which I will abbreviate as BFS, is a condition in which there are involuntary twitches of various muscle groups, most commonly the legs but also the face, arms, eyes, and tongue. If the diagnosis is confirmed and other causes are excluded, it can be safely said that the likelihood of progression or occurrence of a serious neurologic condition is low.
When BFS is present but not particularly bothersome or disabling, treatment is not necessary. If severe and it requires treatment, there are a few medication options though this condition is not very common, and the research that has been done on its treatment is limited. Minimizing caffeine and stress, and treating anxiety if it is present, will improve your symptoms.
Given your history of foot injury (from the cyst), it is possible that the fasciculations may be a result of a distal neuropathy (i.e., nerve injury). Typically, there will also be changes such as motor and/or sensation.
Other causes of fasciculations include metabolic (such as calcium or thyroid disorders to name a few), migraines, seizures, etc.
Often these symptoms may reflect emotional/psychiatric problems related to stress (what is called somatization disorder). The latter is a true medical condition whereby instead of a patient experiencing depression or anxiety, they experience physical symptoms, and once the stress is addressed, the symptoms resolve.
I suggest follow up with your primary doctor. It is important that you discuss your concerns with him/her. Basic lab work (such as blood counts, chemistry, vitamin B12, and TSH) is recommended.
Thank you for this opportunity to answer your questions, I hope you find the information I have provided useful, good luck.
