Strange Day at The Nail Salon

I went to get a pedicure yesterday.  As I went to place my feet in water that I knew was not hot, the bottom of my foot started burning.  While in a hygenic foot basin, my foot was submerged and touching the bottom.  Twice my foot became so hot I had to remove it.  The nail technician thought I was crazy.  I even bent down to feel the water.  It was tepid.  However, the bottom of my foot felt like it was on fire.  It kind of scared me and I was wondering  if you are the right doctor to ask.

I want to be clear, I am a Nail Tech, not a medical professional.  Is it possible that the hygenic foot bath had a heat unit in the bottom and That was what you were feeling?  I know that my foot bath has the heat unit in the base and if it is turned up too high, you can feel it through the liner. Hope this helps!

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
This was due to your nerves getting stimulated, sometimes it happens if you sit in a position for long hours, by wearing faulty foot wear. Try wearing ergonomically correct footwear, proper posture positions and if you have these symptoms repeated get yourself checked of Diabetes/Hypertension and follow up near a neurologist if it repeats again. Take care!
