Symptoms of Aspertame

This is not a question, but a comment regarding some of these people that are having these crazy neuro symptoms going on.  Let me tell you what went on with my wife in 1997.  She was having really crazy symptoms.  Her skin was extremely tender like she had a sunburn.  Her muscles in her legs felt like they were cramping but they weren't.  Dizzy etc..etc..  We went to several Neurologists and they couldn't tell us anything but they all eluded to MS.  Then we went to Dallas and had another MRI done and we were told that usually MS would show up in the MRI and hers was clean.  So, we still had no answers other than it wasn't MS.  Then we had a friend mention Aspertame poisoning and we began to read about it.  She had been drinking diet drinks which does contain aspertame, so she stopped everything with Aspertame in it.  The symptoms eventually went away.  You do your own research and find the truth for yourself.

Hi there. I want to thank you earnestly for sharing this knowledgeable piece about aspartame toxicity and how commonly one is exposed to this since all artificial sweeteners have this. I am sure many defaulters would benefit from this and avoid taking artificially sweetened drinks and sweeteners. Take care.

Also, I want to add that almost every chewing gum and "sugar free" product on the market has aspertame.  Even some childrens vitamins.  Aspertame is made by Monsanto, a publicly traded company.  The most commonly used name is NutraSweet.
