Tension Headache Options

I'm very frustrated as I was diagnosed with a Chronic "Tension" headache by a Neuro at an academic hospital. I have exhausted a plethora of meds, obligatory SSRIs & MAOIs, Calcium & Beta Blockers, PT, Traction, Chiro, 4 Cervical Facet Blocks &  1 Radio frequency ablation and nothing has helped.  I'm still suffering from constant intense forehead pressure, band-around the forehead-like tightness, a hangover like sensation, and the neurocognitive deficits that accompany these debilitating symptoms. This has been going on for 4 years 24/7 without any relief.

Pain MD wants to do another RFL on the other side of my neck. Needless to say, they are painful & scary. What else can I do, given I can't function & I'm out of options? I'm frustrated & fearful as it appears something is being missed or I'm trapped with this, which in 2008 with leading academic hospitals is very sad. Are we missing something here?

Thank you for your input.

Thanks 4 the suggestion. I went to Chiro for a month 2x per week and it just didn't help. The relief was partial & transient.

Hey Shag, good to hear from you. No dice for me. Just keep banging my head into the wall, pun intended. Seriously, tried the toxic mold route, ENT consult, allergy shots, antifungals & spent several months in a different with no relief. Hoping the ablation would help as the block was helpful, albeit transient. What up with you? Cardiac involvement? What about osteoma?

Oh and I was wondering,  explain this ablation to me?   What were they ablating and did it help?

Hey Kim,  this is Shaggy from back in the day.  I can't forget you!   You always stick in the back of my mind because our symptoms are so similar.     Actually,   I've been in the cardiac arena lately.    I started having the same pressure in my head like you, but also now in my chest,  with palpitations and some shortness of breath.     Today is a bad head pressure day for me.     My nose feels very swolen shut at usual and  the muscles in my forehead are very stiff.    Remind me once again,   what is your living or work environment like?   Like, what kind of air your breath?   Is there any possible exposure to something like insulation or mold?
