Trembling hands while drinking liquids

Drinking liquids on mornings eg tea, coffee whilst placing cup to mouth my hands start to tremble, while trying to write when nervous it is worst my writing is illegible eg going through immigration at airports. I am 46 male.Could you say what is causing this and any remedy recommended. Thanking you in advance.

Hi,

It is difficult to say without a good clinical exam. This trembling could be just a sign of nervousness or anxiety or could be essential tremors which usually run in families.
For essential tremors the treatment is mainly by beta blockers.

Tremors are also seen chronic alcoholics. This requires further evaluation, I would suggest you to get a clinical exam done by your GP.

Hi....depending on how long u r plauged with this I would suggest going to a dr.

I also have this....mostly in my right hand.....but I do have a dx.

Not even a dr here can speculate to this cause with out knowing ur history.IS this ur only symptom...no pain....weakness?
