dizzyness episodes along with terrible stomach ache

my 8 year old has been sick now for 7 months now, he was a very healthy boy but has aspurgers [autism high functioning] but then he started getting episodes of dizzyness [ he says rockets of colors and everything racing, this last about 20-30 seconds, then goes into him bent  over with terrible stomach pain, resulting in him vomiting, sometimes he gets a very bad head ache, they cam once or twice a week, but now they are coming 4-5 times a week, and now he is getting fatigued after wards, we have seen a neuroligist, they had a mri with/ without contrast, they said everything is good, they also gave him eeg, they said its ok, but gave him keppra 250 mlg, this mad him worse, after a few days he had a episode, and he was sick to his stomach horribly, during these episodes i talk too him and he answers me and can even count, , so now we are seeing ear nose throut , his hearing perfect, throut good, they check his eyes in 3 days, in nevada we only have 1 office fooor pediatric , please help me send me a direction or info please? im afraid of cancer.

Hi,

He could be suffering from abdominal migraine which is characterised by stomach pain which is dull accompanied by either of the two symptoms: anorexia, nausea, vomiting and pallor.Usually NSAIDS and triptans are given. I suggest you discuss this possibility with your doctor. Take care!

hi would a migraine be possible? so far he has only had 1 headache in the last 7 months  when he got dizzy, all other times its just dizziness then goes into a painfull stomach ache? some times resulting in fatigue?? is their any blood test i need to ask for?///

Hello.

The doctors have prescribed Keppra probably because they stil believe it is a seizure. An absence of any abnormality on the EEG does not completely rule out seizure.

Alternatively, he could have Migraine. And the visual symptoms may be the aura before the headache.
