What does this mean STROKE'S ?

I had a MRI done 9 years ago and it showed that I had TIA's .
About two weeks ago i had another and it showed that my MRI was clear and normal.
Is this possible ? I have been on aspirins for 9 years and I thought that this might have done me good.My doctor was to give me some test and when the second test results came in he canceled them.I took the report to him of my first MRI and his office called and told me to come in and have the test done.can they make a mistake on something like MRI's ? My old report said I had several minute bihemispheric foci of increased signal were seen within my centrum semiovale, nonspecific. What does that mean ? I am waiting to see the doctor.Thank you

Thank you so very much. I just went to the site you sent and read all the info and it was very helpful and answered my question about the last MRI not showing the TIA'S that I had. I will print it and show my family the info.Thank you again for your help.
