What should I expect from Neuralgia?

So for awhile I've had these warm flashes around my stomach & lower abdominal area. They came & went about 2 times before this. Initially everyone thought it was anxiety or my GERD. Well about a week ago after overeating the warm pains came back. I was trying to manage it with maalox, tums & protonix. Around the 3rd day I started getting flank & thigh pains on my right side then it switched to my left side. I tried applying ice to it but it burnt like crazy. The sixth day I had a pain on my shin that felt like someone took a car lighter to it. After awhile it then felt like it spread to my calf but it just felt really itchy & sensitive to touch.

The day after that I had right side groin pain then decided to go to urgent care. They gave me a urine test to rule out tract infection & then the doctor told me that the shin pain was definitely nerve pain. She made me do a few stretches that didn't seem to create any pain at all & then told me to go to a chiropractor.

I have yet to call a chiropractor due to the holiday & weekend. So far after the diagnosis I've been having crazy pains that seem to affect so far my jaw & ear, my left tricep/middle arm, thighs, calfs, & neck. I also seemed to have pressure in my head that traveled from my left to right & occasional ringing in my ears.

So my question is  Is all of this really being caused by neuralgia?
